Risk Assessment

OCTO have developed and deliver transparent, intuitive and value-adding community risk assessment training.  Courses have been developed for emergency response professionals at local, sub national and national levels and are consistent with UK Civil Contingencies Act and associated guidance.  Courses include:

Emergency Management

OCTO offer upto 3 day seminars in emergency management.  Key components include tackling key challenges of emergency management, information management, Forward Control Point technique, stress management and decision making.  These packages are modular in construction, bespoke to each client.  In all courses participants will have the opportunity to experience command and control techniques first hand under expert guidance.  Very much focussed at tactical and operational levels key themes include:
